The month began with the Charity Obstacle Run in Bali, a spirited family-friendly event that combined fitness with purpose. Partnering with Right Reasons Funding and Educate Bali, Utama Spice helped channel all proceeds toward expanding English literacy programs for underserved Balinese communities.
The run was more than just a test of endurance—it was a celebration of community strength. Duaine James, founder of Right Reasons, summed it up best: “If the cause comes from the heart and the impact is clear, we want to help.”
Scents of Self-Care in Ubud
Later in the month, on International Self-Care Day (25 July), Utama Spice joined hands with The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud Bali to host an intimate wellness gathering titled Scents of Self-Care. Guests crafted their own natural candles, experienced guided meditation, and enjoyed a massage demonstration from the Heavenly Spa team—all in the serene setting of the resort’s yoga pavilion.
The event was a gentle reminder that wellness doesn’t always come from grand gestures—it can be found in small, mindful rituals that restore balance in daily life.
A Celebration of Craft and Culture in Sanur
On 26 July, the brand turned its Sanur flagship store into a hub of creativity, teaming up with Munti Gunung Social Enterprise for a cultural showcase. Guests discovered new batik motifs, joined a DIY skincare workshop using Utama Spice’s Rosella blend, and connected with artisans whose work sustains entire villages in Northeast Bali.
It was not just a workshop—it was a celebration of heritage, empowerment, and the quiet beauty of tradition.
Expanding the Wellness Movement in Jakarta
The journey continued beyond Bali on 9 August, when Utama Spice took part in the WellNest Festival Jakarta at Habitat Park. As the city’s first holistic wellness day festival, WellNest became a vibrant urban sanctuary where movement, mindfulness, and community flourished.
Utama Spice introduced festival-goers to the calming power of aromatherapy through its Sensory Room, alongside interactive booths featuring DIY essential oil rollers and product tastings. Families, friends, and individuals of all ages gathered, proving that wellness truly has no boundaries.
