Badung Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa inaugurated and swore in Administrative Officials, Supervisory Officials, and Functional Officials within the Badung Regency Government at the Kriya Gosana Hall, Badung Government Center, Thursday (14/8). A total of 61 officials were appointed, consisting of 18 Administrative and Supervisory Officials and 43 Functional Officials. Specifically, the administrative and supervisory officials were assigned to fill positions at Giri Asih Regional Hospital in Abiansemal and Suwiti Regional Hospital in Petang.
Dr. Ni Luh Ketut Ayu Ratnawati, M.Kes, previously Head of the Health Services Division at the Health Office, was entrusted as Director of Giri Asih Hospital, while Dr. I Ketut Sukerta, formerly a Senior Doctor at UPTD Puskesmas Petang II, was appointed as Director of Suwiti Hospital.
In his remarks, Regent Adi Arnawa explained that this inauguration and oath-taking was specifically intended to fill the two newly established hospitals, Giri Asih and Suwiti. “With the addition of these two hospitals, we hope health services in Badung will further improve and lead to better public health quality,” he stated.
The Regent emphasized that the newly appointed officials must provide optimal service and foster empathy that would positively impact patients psychologically. “Give a personal touch, grow empathy, so that patients in need of hospital services can recover more quickly. We want a paradigm shift in health services,” he urged.
He also called on the officials to improve their performance, response time, and focus on their duties in serving the community. “We are serious about this, as every oath-taking is accompanied by an integrity pact and a performance agreement. These two indicators will serve as the basis for assessing the integrity and performance of the officials concerned. If they are unable to meet these standards, we will have no choice but to impose punishment,” he stressed.
Prior to the inauguration, the officials took part in a mejaya-jaya purification ceremony at Lingga Bhuwana Temple, officiated by Ida Pedanda Dwija Tembuku from Griya Kuwum. The ceremony was attended by Badung DPRD Chairman I Gusti Anom Gumanti, accompanied by DPRD member I Made Rai Wirata, Badung Regional Secretary IB Surya Suamba along with regional heads, Chairperson of the Badung PKK Team Mrs. Rasniathi Adi Arnawa, Chairperson of Gatriwara Mrs. Ayu Trisna Dewi Anom Gumanti, and Chairperson of DWP Badung Mrs. Oliviana Surya Suamba.
