PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), also known as InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), is once again presenting Mandalika Street Food Festival (MSFF) Vol. 2 on October 9–10, 2026, at Bazaar Mandalika, The Mandalika, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
Embracing a tropical theme and a community-based tourism concept, the festival offers an alternative tourism experience for visitors attending the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026. It also provides opportunities for local businesses and communities to participate in and contribute to The Mandalika’s tourism ecosystem.
Running from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA), the festival targets more than 15,000 domestic and international visitors.
A total of 20 MSME culinary vendors offer a diverse selection of local dishes and snacks, ranging from serabi (traditional Indonesian pancakes), Narmada red satay, Suranadi satay bulayak, Puyung nasi balap, and taichan satay to rice with shredded chicken and torch ginger, as well as traditional snacks. These offerings give visitors the opportunity to sample a variety of culinary specialties while discovering products from participating local businesses.
The culinary experience is complemented by 10 coffee, beverage, and tropical product vendors, including Esda Coffee, Oryz Coffee, Ruon Matcha, Kissa Coffee, and Blau Fabrika.
MSFF Vol. 2 also features 10 Lombok Eco Market vendors offering creative and lifestyle products, such as Muna Gallery, Lombok Vanilla, I Love Mutiara, and MiaMia Crochet. Their participation expands the range of experiences available to visitors beyond sports tourism.
ITDC Acting President Director Ahmad Fajar said that MSFF Vol. 2 is part of the company’s efforts to enrich the tourism experience at The Mandalika while strengthening the involvement of local businesses in destination development.
“The development of The Mandalika is not focused solely on hosting international sporting events, but also on creating a more comprehensive tourism experience while delivering benefits to surrounding communities. Through Mandalika Street Food Festival Vol. 2, we aim to provide a platform for MSMEs, creative economy players, and local communities to grow alongside The Mandalika’s tourism ecosystem,” Ahmad Fajar said.
He added that the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 presents an important opportunity to introduce local culinary specialties and creativity to tourists from across Indonesia and overseas.
“We hope that the arrival of tourists during the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 will create broader opportunities for local businesses to showcase their products. By connecting international events with economic activities in the area, we expect tourism benefits to reach more businesses and members of the local community,” he added.
Mandalika Street Food Festival Vol. 2 is also supported by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) through a collaboration that integrates banking services and digital transactions into the festival experience.
This support includes various visitor programs, such as interactive booth activities, cashback offers, and transaction promotions using BRImo and BRI services for MotoGP merchandise purchases, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
BRI Senior Executive Vice President of Transaction & Retail Funding, Trilaksito Singgih, said that BRI’s participation is part of the bank’s efforts to bring its banking services closer to the public through activities relevant to visitors’ needs.
“Through BRI’s participation in Mandalika Street Food Festival Vol. 2, we aim to create a more accessible and interactive experience for the public to discover BRI’s banking services. We hope the various programs offered will encourage greater use of digital services such as BRImo, enabling convenient and practical transactions throughout the festival,” Trilaksito Singgih said.
Beyond culinary offerings and banking activities, MSFF Vol. 2 involves several communities, including Samalas Custom Show, Poundpose Lombok, Arti Drawing, Board Game, Lombok Eco Market, and Pesta Timur.
Visitors can enjoy community activities, gatherings, and a variety of entertainment, including live screenings of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, mixology performances, live painting, face painting, and interactive games.
The festival atmosphere will also be enlivened by Swara Bazaar, DJ performances featuring reggae setlists, acoustic bands, reggae jamming sessions, and Pesta Timur.
Through its combination of culinary experiences, creative products, entertainment, and community activities, MSFF Vol. 2 forms part of ITDC’s efforts to strengthen The Mandalika’s appeal as a destination offering more than just sports tourism.
The festival also provides a platform for MSMEs and local communities to showcase their products and activities to tourists, particularly during the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026. TS-01
