The Pandawa Beach Tourism Area (DTW) continues to make improvements in line with the dynamic growth of the tourism sector. Various innovations are being developed by the management to turn the area into an integrated tourism zone or a “One Stop Destination.” The latest update, as outlined in the recently completed master plan, is the presentation of daily Kecak dance performances for visitors.
According to the Head of Planning, Development, and Management of DTW Pandawa Beach, Wayan Duarta, on Tuesday (20/5/2026), the Pandawa Beach Master Plan has been finalized and has even been submitted to the Badung Regent and relevant departments in the Badung Regency Government.
In general, the area is being integratedly arranged to position DTW Pandawa Beach as a premier destination where tourists can enjoy a full-day experience with various activities.
Development is also being carried out on the west side of DTW Pandawa, namely Tanah Barak Beach, and on the east side, Timbis Beach.
At the central area — Pandawa Beach itself — additional facilities such as a musala and worship space are being built so that tourists no longer need to leave the area to perform prayers.
“We are also adjusting the ticket price to 15,000 rupiah, which is currently in process at the Badung Regency Government. As added value, tourists can now enjoy daily Kecak dance performances,” he revealed.
In addition, the ticket gate will be widened so that larger vehicles like buses can easily access Pandawa Beach.
When asked about other advantages that visitors can enjoy at Pandawa Beach, the tourism doctorate who is also a lecturer mentioned that one of the attractions is the canoeing activity. With calm waves, tourists can safely canoe out to sea under the supervision of staff.
“This canoeing activity is very popular among visitors. On average, nearly 200 people enjoy canoeing here every day,” he said.
Other supporting facilities included in the new Master Plan will also be built gradually. The development will be carried out using three methods: independently by the Kutuh traditional village, in collaboration with third parties, and with the government. It is hoped that DTW Pandawa Beach will continue to grow and meet tourists’ expectations.
For that reason, he and the DTW Pandawa Beach planning and development team remain proactive and focused on various breakthroughs to ensure the destination stays relevant and becomes a favorite among tourists visiting Bali. TS-01
