Regent of Badung, I Wayan Adi Arnawa, on behalf of the Badung Regency Government, highly appreciates Banjar Kaja Jati for successfully establishing and inaugurating the Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) Praja Dana Jati.
This achievement proves and demonstrates that the economic growth in Kutuh Village is continuously improving. This is also evident from the statement made by the Head of Kutuh Village, highlighting how seasonal residents come to Kutuh to earn a living. As a well-known tourist destination with Pandawa Beach, this has led to an increase in accommodations being developed in the village.
“Hopefully, this condition can be maintained because it is one of our missions to realize quality tourism based on the values of Nangun Sat Kerti Loka Bali, which includes addressing issues such as traffic congestion, waste management, water resources, and flooding. Hopefully, through these measures, the community’s hopes for sustaining tourism can be well maintained, ensuring a stable revenue for Badung Regency. If this can be achieved, many developments can be carried out for Badung,” said Regent Adi Arnawa during the inauguration of the Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) Praja Dana Jati in Banjar Kaja Jati, Kutuh Village, South Kuta District.
The inauguration was marked by the beating of a gong and the unveiling of a curtain on Sunday (March 9, 2025).
The Head of Kutuh Village, Wayan Mudana, reported that there are currently six cooperatives in Kutuh Village, with Praja Dana Jati Cooperative being the sixth to be inaugurated by the Regent of Badung.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to the Regent for his presence at Praja Dana Jati Cooperative. This will serve as an extraordinary motivation for both the members and the management, inspiring them to further grow and develop the cooperatives in Kutuh Village. We hope this will have a significant impact on the economic growth of the local community,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Praja Dana Jati Cooperative, I Nyoman Suasana, stated in his presentation that the cooperative was established based on the idea of creating a business entity in Banjar Kaja Jati. This entity is intended to finance and support activities related to the preservation of art, customs, and culture in the community.
Thus, in 2019, the Praja Dana Jati Cooperative was established with 50 members, each contributing a capital of Rp. 2 million. Over time, the number of cooperative members has grown to 141. “With the issuance of the cooperative’s permit in December 2024 under Legal Entity Number: AHU-0004703.AH.01.29 Year 2024, we once again extend our gratitude to the Regent of Badung for his guidance, from his time as Regional Secretary until now, which has helped make this cooperative a reality,” he stated.
