Indonesia will soon be represented on the world stage of mixology as Arya Dharmayasa, Bar Manager at Syrco BASÈ Ubud, heads to France this October for the #HennessyMyWay Global Finals. Having just been named Indonesia’s Regional Winner, Arya now carries the nation’s flag in one of the most respected sustainable cocktail competitions worldwide.
#HennessyMyWay celebrates bartenders who redefine cocktail-making through creativity, cultural expression, and sustainability. Arya’s winning serve, “Rethink with Hennessy”, embodies these values with a philosophy rooted in conscious choices, environmental awareness, and respect for heritage.
“Every decision behind the bar, no matter how small, has an impact,” Arya explained. “My cocktail is about pausing to reflect on how we can honor our culture, nature, and community while still embracing innovation.”
