The collaboration between the hospitality and culinary industries has once again enriched Bali’s tourism landscape. Golden Tulip Jineng Resort Bali, in partnership with Golden Saffron, officially launched Saffron Mandala, a restaurant offering authentic Indian cuisine, during the Inaugural Celebration themed “A Golden Taste of India” on Tuesday (June 30, 2026).
The opening of Saffron Mandala symbolizes the synergy between culture, tourism, and gastronomy, strengthening the connection between Indonesia and India. The restaurant is expected not only to become a new destination for lovers of Indian cuisine but also to enhance Bali’s appeal as an international culinary tourism destination.
The launch ceremony was attended by approximately 100–150 invited guests, including a Bali Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) Senator, Balinese Hindu religious leaders, business partners, travel agents, and tourism industry stakeholders.
During the event, Dr. Shri I Gusti Ngurah Arya Wedakarna MWS III, a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) representing Bali Province, together with I Rsi Putra Nhata Siliwangi Manuaba, expressed their appreciation for the collaboration, which they believe will strengthen cultural, tourism, and culinary ties between Indonesia and India.
The General Manager of Golden Tulip Jineng Resort Bali, A Baramukti, said that the partnership is a strategic step toward providing guests with a more comprehensive hospitality experience through authentic Indian cuisine.
“Our collaboration with Golden Saffron is a strategic initiative to offer a wider variety of culinary experiences for our guests. Through Saffron Mandala, we hope to introduce the authentic flavors of India while adding value to Bali’s hospitality and tourism industry,” he said.
Meanwhile, Golden Saffron Owner Mr. Vedanta Das emphasized that food is an important part of culture that brings people together.
