The Badung Regency Government together with the Badung Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) agreed and ratified the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the 2025 Amended Regional Budget (APBD) into Regional Regulation, as well as the Draft General Budget Policy and Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) for the 2026 Fiscal Year.
The agreement was formalized through the signing of the DPRD decision letter and memorandum of understanding by Badung Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa, DPRD Chairman I Gusti Anom Gumanti, and other DPRD leaders during the Badung DPRD Plenary Meeting at the Gosana Main Chamber, Badung DPRD Office, Friday (Aug 15). The session was attended by members of the Badung DPRD, Forkopimda Badung, Regional Secretary IB Surya Suamba, regional apparatus leaders, heads of vertical agencies, directors of regional enterprises, and DPRD expert staff.
In his remarks, Regent Adi Arnawa expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the DPRD for completing the discussions on time. He also acknowledged the valuable feedback and input from the council regarding development policy strategies, which were realized in the form of joint approval of the 2025 Amended APBD and the 2026 KUA-PPAS draft. “The 2025 Amended APBD will be submitted to the Governor of Bali for evaluation in accordance with statutory regulations,” he explained.
The Regent further emphasized that once the regulation is enacted, all regional apparatus must accelerate the implementation of budget programs so that the benefits can be felt by the people of Badung. He also noted that the 2026 KUA-PPAS document will serve as the basis for budget allocations across regional agencies. “We expect the implementation of programs to be carried out optimally while prioritizing transparency, accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness toward good governance,” he added.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman II of the Badung DPRD, I Made Wijaya, in delivering the council’s report, explained that the Badung DPRD had agreed and established the 2025 Amended APBD as a Regional Regulation, and approved the 2026 KUA-PPAS as the basis for drafting the 2026 APBD. For the 2025 Amended APBD, regional revenue is set at more than IDR 11.1 trillion, with expenditure of more than IDR 12.7 trillion. As for the 2026 KUA-PPAS, regional revenue is projected at more than IDR 12.3 trillion, while expenditure is set at more than IDR 13.2 trillion. The 2025 Amended APBD will then be submitted to the Governor of Bali for evaluation before being enacted as a Regional Regulation. TS-02
