On the island where wellness and tradition meet, Utama Spice—Bali’s beloved natural wellness brand—brought together a community of creatives, nature lovers, and changemakers for “Reconnect with Nature”, a day-long celebration of mindful living at the newly transformed Kul Kul Farm.
More than an event, it was an invitation: to pause, create, and rediscover the beauty of everyday rituals that nourish both people and the planet.

A Celebration of Craft and Connection
Guests rolled up their sleeves for an interactive herbal soap-making workshop, guided by the Utama Spice team. Blending fragrant oils and natural botanicals, participants crafted their own herbal creations—simple, tactile reminders that wellness can begin with the smallest of daily rituals.
Each attendee also took home curated goodie bags filled with Utama Spice’s handcrafted products alongside sustainable homeware from ChopValue Bali. Known globally for its innovative approach to circular design, ChopValue gives single-use chopsticks and bamboo skewers a second life as sleek, carbon-negative furniture and home goods—a powerful symbol of how waste can be transformed into beauty and purpose.
The Setting: A Farm in Transformation
The choice of venue was no accident. The Kul Kul Farm, founded by Orin and Maria Hardy, has long been a hub for permaculture learning. Today, it is reemerging as an eco-hospitality sanctuary: a place where bamboo accommodations, regenerative farming, and farm-to-table dining at Taani restaurant come together in harmony with the land.
Here, guests are encouraged to live in rhythm with nature—not just for a day, but as a way of being.
Adding to the day’s atmosphere, Ranting Florist, Bali’s pioneer of sustainable floristry, created living installations with native blooms. Their arrangements became both artwork and homage to Bali’s lush biodiversity, underscoring the event’s message of interconnectedness.

More Than an Event
“Through this event, we wanted to create a moment for people to slow down, get hands-on, and reconnect with nature,” said Ria Templer, Director of Utama Spice. “Partnering with The Kul Kul Farm, ChopValue Bali, and Ranting Florist allowed us to show how creativity, sustainability, and community can come together to spark meaningful connections.”
For Utama Spice, the gathering reflects more than brand ethos—it is a continuation of its mission to weave tradition, wellness, and sustainability into modern life. The brand’s roots in Balinese herbal wisdom and its commitment to mindful, eco-conscious living set the tone for what was, at its core, a reminder: change can start with something as simple as a bar of soap, a shared meal, or a walk through the garden.
