PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (ITDC) has once again demonstrated its commitment to implementing clean, transparent, and integrity-based corporate governance by maintaining the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) Certification. This year, ITDC successfully expanded the certification scope to include The Golo Mori tourism destination in Manggarai Barat, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), reinforcing its ongoing efforts to ensure integrated business practices across all its operational areas.
The ISO 37001:2016 certification is an international standard that establishes a management system to prevent, detect, and address bribery risks. With the expansion of this certification to The Golo Mori, ITDC further strengthens the implementation of its anti-bribery system in managing premier tourism destinations.
ITDC’s Director of Finance and Risk Management, Ahmad Fajar, stated that the company’s success in maintaining the ISO 37001:2016 certification while expanding its scope to The Golo Mori demonstrates its commitment to building a professional, transparent, and bribery-free tourism ecosystem.
“We will continue to enhance the implementation of good governance to create a healthy and trustworthy business environment,” he emphasized.
This certification is conducted by a certification body recognized by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) to ensure that the applied standards align with the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). ITDC enforces a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of bribery and legal violations as part of its commitment to creating a clean and transparent business environment.
ITDC holds a significant responsibility in promoting sustainable and integrity-driven tourism development. The implementation of the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) is part of ITDC’s commitment to establishing a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Zone (WBBM), in line with the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
To achieve this, ITDC has implemented various strategic measures, including strengthening the SMAP system, reforming work processes to enhance transparency and efficiency, improving the quality of public services, and conducting continuous monitoring and evaluation. These efforts are expected to reinforce a culture of integrity and accountability while ensuring that every business activity aligns with high compliance standards and ethical business principles.
“We will continue to uphold the principles of integrity and ensure that every aspect of our business operations aligns with Good Corporate Governance (GCG), the Business Ethics and Corporate Code of Conduct, and the 4 NO’s principles: No Bribery, No Kickback, No Gift, and No Luxurious Hospitality,” said Fajar. ITDC remains committed to strengthening the implementation of the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) to create a professional, transparent, and integrity-driven work environment.
“We appreciate the support of PT Garuda Sertifikasi Indonesia and the dedication of all employees in ensuring the smooth audit process. With better risk mitigation and increased awareness of compliance, ITDC is ready to move forward in realizing clean and sustainable corporate governance,” Fajar concluded. TS-01
