After successfully opening multiple branch offices and a car wash business, Subhakti Cooperative has now ventured into the booming property sector in South Badung. Remarkably, they have just completed the construction of two new business units: a villa and a guest house. The Melaspas (purification ceremony) for these units was held on Friday (14/03/2025) at Jl. Pura Masuka, Br. Wanagiri, Ungasan, Badung.
During the ceremony, Subhakti Ungasan Cooperative Chairman I Made Suanda Wisnaya, SE, explained that the newly inaugurated guest house, Suba 2, consists of 16 rooms and features a swimming pool in the front yard. Suba 2 is a continuation of the Suba 1 guest house, which has eight rooms and has already been running successfully. In addition, the cooperative has expanded into the villa business, both in collaboration with members and through two villas owned outright by Subhakti Ungasan Cooperative.
When asked about the motivation behind entering the property sector, Suanda Wisnaya emphasized that this business expansion is a well-thought-out program based on supply and demand analysis. With the tourism industry recovering post-COVID-19, this initiative aims to inspire cooperative members to seize emerging opportunities.
“All these properties—both the villas and the guest house—belong to Subhakti Ungasan Cooperative,” he stressed. He also highlighted that cooperatives should not be limited to savings and loans but must also take bold steps into high-potential real sectors. Interestingly, despite not being fully operational yet, the guest house has already received bookings. This demonstrates the cooperative’s serious commitment to the business and shows members that the initiative is already producing tangible results.
Asked about the management of this new sector, Suanda explained that all real-sector businesses are carefully planned and managed by Fino, a team of young professionals with expertise and experience in the hospitality industry. “Moving forward, Subhakti Cooperative will continue fostering a spirit of vision and innovative thinking. By analyzing the market and potential, we aim to expand our property business on a larger scale for sustainable growth,” he stated.
The cooperative’s focus is not solely on financial gains but on inspiring members to innovate and grow together. “Collaborating to develop businesses is far more beneficial than merely chasing profits,” he said passionately.
By entering the real sector and understanding supply and demand, Suanda highlighted that the large influx of tourists, especially in South Kuta, presents a golden opportunity that must be taken advantage of. “We must be bold. Instead of simply selling or renting out land, Subhakti Ungasan Cooperative is shifting the mindset to long-term asset development,” he explained.

Members can collaborate through financing options with low-interest rates or other business partnerships. “In addition to supporting the economy of our members and the community, Subhakti Ungasan Cooperative also educates members to continuously innovate and develop together,” he added.
